I did just order the wife the strapcode 19mm mesh with a seatbelt clasp to swap out. I'll report back how it compares to genuine.

Well I'm not too sold on this strapcode mesh. With calipers the wire diameter is almost exact, the look is almost exact and the clasp is arguably nicer made than the omega Haha. What's wrong with it is the mesh doesnt have the heft of the genuine mesh and due to that it feels cheaper. In my case the whole bracelet is a lost because it doesnt even fit my wife's aquaterra. The last set of mesh is 19mm but the next row makes contact with the lugs making it useless. If this were the 20mm version I'd be really impressed with the quality for the money it cost, but I'm dissapointed.

Great pictures in this thread.

I recently bought the seatbelt style mesh bracelet from a seller in Australia, and it is pristine. Brand new and sealed.

However, I find the bracelet to be quite small, and the clasp is already adjusted to the last spring bar hole.

Do you need extensions for these for slightly larger wrists? I am about a 7.25 give or take, and depending on humidity.

Thanks for the help, and glad to be a part of the forums.

I’ve posted these before in the WRUW thread, but am glad to see this thread which confirms my view that mesh just works on the PO 2500. After seeing the photos in this thread, I think I may have try it on my Speedy too.

that bezel position is for teh OCD crowd?..right?

Yes, just turn it anywhere, but Arrow should have been at 12 when pictured, but the photorapher (me) was obviously not using his brin at the time

Hi guys,

first post here. The issue is my Seamaster Chrono 2225.80 is a thick and weighty watch (which I like) with a relatively smaller diameter (41.5mm) compared to its almost 17mm thickness. And this makes it a bit top heavy so it moves around on my wrist more than I like.
So I want to buy the heavier proplof clasp for it as a heavier and larger clasp will hold the watch in place more I think. So my first and main question was how this coudl be done.

I emailed Omega asking about putting either an Omega Speedmaster Seamaster Vintage Mesh 20mm 1380-237 or an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Sharkmesh 20mm Bracelet 021ST1962 on the Proplof clasp on my Seamaster Chrono 2225.80. Omega said those mesh bracelets wouldn't fit my watch. But I was sure I had seen someone with them fitted to a 300M Seamaster.

So has anyone on here done that? And do they fit on the Proplof clasp? If not are there any other sharkmesh bracelets that anyone knows that look like the Omega ones in terms of weight/thickness/polish that could be fitted to my watch and the Proplof clasp? Thanks in advance for any and all answers.

Best,

After market. Comfortable but filed a couple rough links on the edges. I am happy with it.
P.S.
It survived several dives in Hawaii. No shark tried to bite thru it.
