For sale today is a nice Omega Seamaster Chronometer from the late 1960s.
Brand: Omega, Model: Seamaster Chronometer, Ref.: 168.024, Cal. 564, Serial number: 31'903'xxx
Description as follows:
- Dial: Original sunburst dial in great condition.
- Case: 35mm without crown, sharp unpolished case, with original vertical brushing on both sides that is well visible. The caseback is stamped 166.010 by HF, which shared the same case reference as the 168.024 (chronometer version).
- Crown: Original Omega crown and correct for the references.
- Movement: The watch is powered by an Omega Calibre 564 chronometer grade movement. Serial number: 31'903'xxx, which dates the watch to approximately 1969. The watch is running, winding smoothly, and keeping good time. Service history is unknown.
- Plexiglass: Original with logo.
- Bracelet: Omega Milanese Mesh bracelet No. 2038. I like the way the bracelet comfortably fits on the wrist. The mesh bracelet is also period-correct for Omegas from the late 1960s to early 1970s.
