Hello Omega aficionados,

I somehow ended up in a chicken before the egg situation by purchasing a strap for a watch I don't own...

To be specific I purchased a 1247/237 Omega Shark Mesh 22mm Bracelet, for $200 USD (which I think was quite a reasonable price and what contributed to me buying it).

I only collect vintage Omegas and already have a 166.090 on an identical bracelet which I find super comfortable (see Pic below). And I'm currently looking around for a vintage Omega that could accommodate this new 22mm bracelet.

The Ploprof is out of the question (form factor wise) but I have found these references which would work, most of them have hooded lugs which work well with this bracelet IMO but I'm also open to any other references that you think might fit.

145.024
166.071
166.091
176.004

I also think it might fit a Speedmaster MkIII, and the flightmaster series as well (but I'm not currently looking for either of those). I also think that there might be a Jumbo Chronostop which I can't seem to find the Ref. for that might work.

Question: Are there any other references that you think might work well with this bracelet?

I'm ever grateful for your advice and opinions, so thank you in advance.
Matt

If you like that watch, why not buy another one. Maybe with a different color or style of dial.

@Dan S I am trying to not collect the same watch twice, I think that's what I like the most about Omega - the variety.

Oh, you'll get over that eventually. If there is a model that I REALLY like, I need at least three of them, and eight isn't too many. 馃榿
