Question: this older style mesh shark bracelet: challenging to remove once on? Looks like the coils can bury the ends of the spring bars.

Usually just enough room on one side so the spring bar removal tool can get a grip. Never had a problem as noted by @MDubs.

From my experience, one side of coils does obstruct a good purchase on the collar of the spring bar, but the other side is left nice and exposed. Taking it off and on hasn’t been a problem.

Thanks, very helpful.

Aqua-Terra on Omega shark mesh?

Thought might as well try it seeing as I have the shark mesh sitting there, pleasant surprise I think. I do really like the original bracelet on this watch but this is a cool dress down option and one I would probably fit for holidays where micro-adjust is useful in the heat.

What say you OF, yay or nay?😉

Pull yourselves together dammit. Neither of those are shark proof. You both need a bigger boat.

To be clear. Those are not Shark Mesh.

With the StrapCo shark mesh bracelet, have a question about size to order. For a 7 in wrist would you go with the 160-165mm or the 170-175mm size?

Well, what does the StrapCo sizing guide say? What is the lug distance on your watch? If in doubt, I would ask them directly via their website.

Sorry, haven't tried one of the shark mesh bracelets before(only the Omega OEM milanese) and didn't word my post properly. Was wondering how much adjustment length was under the clasp.

The original one was a seller on ebay, StrapCo, and then another by StrapsCo. No longer see the StrapCo seller so might have been some knockoff. Looking at Watch Gecko as well so we'll see what works the best.

Sorry, I do not have a Strapco shark mesh, so you probably want somebody else to chime in.

To answer some questions you did not ask (but maybe somebody else might find helpful), the Omega shark mesh clasp has 5 holes at 4mm spacing, so 16mm adjustment range. The extension piece is 20mm long, I think. So you have a total adjustment range of about 32mm, since there is some overlap.
On the non-Omega bracelet I use on my Alpha USA Milsub there are 3 micro-adjust holes, spaced tighter than on the Omega shark mesh, so about 2*3mm = 6 mm adjustment range. I was able to cut about 20mm out of this bracelet with hardened cutting nippers/side cut pliers (not the ones you use for copper wire, but made for cutting steel wire). The bracelet feels lighter than the Omega shark mesh, but otherwise works just fine (and is a factor 10-20 cheaper).
