Greetings:

I just bought the 24mm Omega Shark mesh Bracelet for 1200m Ploprof but do not know how to remove the links to adjust it.

Does anyone have experience with doing this and can give me some instruction?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Rob.

The one with the screws? Take it to a watchmaker and ask for it to be adjusted. Free or cheap. For example, my watchmaker in town charges $20 for a bracelet adjustment, when he feels like I need to pay. 馃槈

If it's like the bracelet below, it's a pain in the ass to "adjust." Most people use a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel to remove links.

My 22mm shark mesh with seat belt clasp came with an extension piece that you can take off. With and without extension overlaps in adjustability at 7 inches.

Correct.

The only "adjustment" is to move the bracelet end to one of the five holes in the clasp. If it still can't be fitted correctly the offending coils need to be cut from either end of the bracelet.

Probably an obvious point, but ensure all the end loops are aligned as near to perfect as you can get them, so the spring bar isn't being pinched. Otherwise it may not expand fully and risks popping off.

I flared mine out very slightly to snugly full the lug gap, but I swim with mine so I'm probably more paranoid than most.

OK... I'm about to attempt what @JimInOz mentions above... any advice before I start the dremel?

Watch your fingers!
