Even my vintage after market has 9 across every row...it definitely wouldn't be vintage, maybe the newer ones are different. Request a photo of the hallmark.

Here is a link that may help.

Hallmark is there. I think it could be a original clasp combined with any other mesh.

just fit the bracelet, it looks really cool
Just enquired at an AD about ordering one of these and was told they couldn’t as omega only make bracelets for certain watches and it would not supply one for my SMP 300 🤦

Keep an eye on the sale section, they come up fairly often.

Have you considered a strapcode shark mesh? I'm more of a fan of keeping it all genuine but I've heard strapcode is good quality. Especially for under 100 bucks they seem to have some good mesh options. Might grab one for the wife's aquaterra since omega doesnt make a 19mm S-Mesh.

Yeah I have considered it but a few on here have mentioned that the clasp is way too big compared to the OEM.

I did wonder what alternative clasps could be used and if the newer omega clasp could be purchased separately and if that would be cost effective

They sell a seatbelt clasp. Not sure of quality but size wise they seem the same

Just priced everything up and including shipping and potential import duty it probably pays to bite the bullet and get the OEM.

Does any know if reference O020ST1380237 has the open end (lug end) or the Planet Ocean style with a spring bar tube?

I wont claim to be a professional on the mesh topic but I've only seen the open end style from omega. I'm not sure on the top of my head what model I have but it's open ended (no tube) with the seatbelt clasp. I did just order the wife the strapcode 19mm mesh with a seatbelt clasp to swap out. I'll report back how it compares to genuine. (according to listed specs the wire diameter for the mesh is damn close to genuine, the shape and look is the same and the clasp is identical, but we'll see how quality turns out) Total cost was 138ish usd shipped. The cheapest I can find the omega ones is well over 400 so you could get easily 3 strapcodes for the cost of one genuine. I wouldn't call that a bite the bullet moment BUT....... I would always recommend buying genuine. Like I said I need 19mm so my situation is a little different.

This might be sorta pedantic, but to set my mind at east – my favorite way to wear my LMLE is on a Staib-manufactured mesh bracelet – same as the OEM one that the Planet Oceans used to come on (hell, probably made by the same people). I've noticed the tube that holds the springbar leaves little circular marks on each of the lugs – the marks don't bother me particularly, as most lugs tend to get scratched anyway. But does this bracelet run the risk of seriously gouging out the inner lugs, or am I worrying too much?
