For an OB, the only sense I could make of the discrepancy is the company's savings in margins on a direct-to-consumer sale via internet.

For an AD, it would be more obvious why Omega may begin creating differentiation of experience.

It was an OB. I bought it for my Speedmaster which I bought there in February. I'll get one of the cases when my Seamaster comes back from service in May, but I'll ask if they have any other goodies they can throw me.

These prices are literally crazy ones. Waiting for the 3861's bracelets to appear there, but I can only imagine how much higher they would be comparing to straps. 馃檨
3861 bracelets cost USD 660 + tax at boutiques.

Never hurts to ask. I walked out of my OB with a bottle of champagne in a cardboard Omega box lol.
Walked out of a Breitling boutique with a Christmas ornament (their Santa mascot with a surf board).

Between the random freebies, alcohol while in store, and general quality of service, boutiques are definitely a worthwhile experience.

Yeah I got the little bottle of champagne in the box too. I didn't ask them for anything when I bought the watch (wish I had..) and asked when I bought the strap and clasp. They wouldn't do anything on that.

You can buy a NATO strap at a Boutique or AD with nothing included.
At the same price you can order it online and it comes in a presentation box with a tool and extra spring bars.
Right. Here is what I got with my NATO. Spring bar tool. The labeled tube at the far right has a set of extra spring bars.
