I'm wincing in pain here staring at my beloved Blue Connie SS bracelet with 4 hands/GMT. It just makes the Vintage 1950s charm disappear. No longbow.
i'l just keep it simple & clean.

A CFRP case might sound cool but I hope for Omega's sake they don't do that. Carbon fibre composites are certainly tough but when they fracture they expose those small (about 5–10 microns in diameter) fibres which will get stuck into your skin very easily.


I always thought the pieces from Hublot and others looked cool but having worked with CF and fiberglass on race cars it was not my thing. Those slivers suck.

all of these are the new materials and colors for the upcoming new Semaster Planet Ocean line.

- liquid metal bezel with orange and black color
- steel, ceramic or carbon cases
- liquid = water
- metas movement, including a new chrono with the same metas chrono as the new Speedie Blue

and the orange bezel in liquidmetal was only available till now with the platinium version of the Planet Ocean. I see a liquidmetal orange / black, and mey be other colors as well. A seamaster deep black .... ceramic case, carbon dial, orange red bezel in LM ....

I didn't say that I liked it, just speculating what Omega might do. They didn't seem to be too worried about putting all that graffiti around the edge of the annual calendar Globemaster dial. When I first saw that i thought they were maybe signatures of the designer team or something. I'm with you on keeping it simple.

A better bet would be the blue dial stainless steel/tungsten carbide case with no date; I could imagine that would make a lot of purists happy.

i have to say mine is really growing on me, the blue dial has so many colour changes with lighting conditions from almost black through Saphire to teal blue. @meganfox17 you're really going to enjoy it when you finally get your hands on it - it doesn't disappoint.

BTW I actually heard a rumor that LordK has just signed a 2 yr exclusive branding contract for Aston Martin...he will now be obliged to wear co-branded JLCs😀

So pleased I bought the Aventurine rather than the standard grey side now as that meteorite grey side has my name written all over it!
