·It isn’t, I’m afraid. This shouldn’t have a sunburst finish to the dial as it’s a ref that was produced in the late 40s / fifties (the pictures are a bit blurry but if I read the serial correctly that should date the watch to ~1949).

··Melbourne AustraliaMovement looks a bit tired, but at its age that's excusable.The dial has been re painted and the hands are incorrect, but otherwise it would be a reasonable daily watch.

·I don’t believe it’s been refinished, it looks like a service dial. Not the Seamaster dial it came with, though.
