Welcome to OF, a brief introduction would generally be a basic courtesy when joining a new community. And if you don't mind my asking, what is the context of your question, and what are your concerns?

And since you spoke to multiple watchmakers, did they open it so you could see the inside of the case back, where you'll normally find the reference number which enables you to simply google and compare to other examples?

No. They didn’t open. They just looked from the outside. They said that the bracelet and case are not original and the mechanism is original.

Cosmic 2000 aren't fun to open or close. There are specific omega tools and a particular procedure, a random watch guy will make a mess... Some already did trying to pop off the back with a blade :whipped:.

I would personally not open it unless I intend to do a service (and have some spare gasket), certainly not to just have a quick look.

Some of the watchmakers are obviously morons pretending to be watchmakers.

The watch is completely genuine.
It has no caseback.
The movement is housed in a cylindrical stainless steel "can" capped by a crystal and sealed with unique gaskets, all held in a mid-case with a special seal.

It will require a specialist/competent watchmaker with appropriate equipment and Omega parts to enable correct servicing.
