Hello everyone! Tell me the dimensions of the crown for omega 2505 or 2506 or similar ones with the same jumbo case.
And if you have a photo from the back of what it looks like, please post it.

There's already a thread for the crown of reference 2505: https://omegaforums.net/threads/2505-crown-specifications.62023/
Also one for reference 2506, but this one may not be as useful: https://omegaforums.net/threads/ref-2506-2-30t2-1947-the-correct-second-hand-and-crown.34603/

For what it's worth, I have a 2503 (30T2PC, 36mm) and a 2504 (283, 36mm), and both of those have crown reference 35003. I would imagine the crown you're looking for to be similar.

I would just like to see what the reverse side looks like, is there a tube or protrusion there?

This protrusion fits into the body, as I understand it, but what is its height?
Diameter - 5.35-mm

Depth - 2.25-mm

Tube size - 2.0-mm

Tap size - 1.2-mm - #6

On both my 2503 and 2504, the case has a crown tube that fits into the crown and is supposed to compress the gasket. The crown has a depth of 1.8mm and a pendant tube diameter of 2.2mm, while the case tube is approximately 1.4mm in height and 2.1mm in diameter.

A few photos to illustrate. Taken with a phone, so not the sharpest.

Thank you!
Yes, I'm a little confused, I have a 2506 case, there is no tube, only a hole (and by the looks of it, there was never a tube)

Can you post a few photos of the watch? According to the vintage database, the 2506 should have a hermetic crown (with the extended crown pipe). But there may be variations of that case and I'm no expert. Hopefully someone else can give more insight.

Yeah, that's not right.

The notch in the bezel is there to clear the case tube which someone has bodged into non existence, along with grinding the shit out of the side of the case.

That's how it is...
Thank you!
Was this tube integral with the body, or was it inserted into it?

The tube is pressed into the body on cases of this vintage, later many models had screwed in tubes.
A competent watchmaker can rectify this issue.

In our city, “watchmakers” are only those who change straps and batteries, unfortunately(
But still, the problem can be solved, which is good.
If the tube were one piece with the body, it would be much more difficult. Thank you very much!
The tube was roughly of this shape - with a belt or an extension, or the same width throughout?

The case tube for case 2506 is 090ST1372.

The crown is 069ST35003.

I only managed to order a watch head; according to the article number, they sent me this one. I hope it’s original, because it cost as much as $65, which was more expensive than the movement ($55)
Unfortunately, it was not possible to find a tube for the housing using this article number. I'll try it on at the crown itself, it's easier.

For some models. 2mm x 2mm or 2mm x 2.5mm. 2 mm inside the case and 2 or 2.5 crown fit

Yes, the sizes are different for different models, of course.
I wrote down the dimensions that fit my watch case.
It is quite possible that the actual dimensions of the part are not what the Chinese seller wrote (I will need to measure
)
