I would like to replace the crown on my 12 mil serial 2505 with a correct one. Any suggestions on what to look for and where to find one? Posting a recent photo of mine.
Hi, I made some pics of the crown of my 2505, which I believe to be original. My 2505 has a 11.7XX.XXX. Serial and the first type of case back. The diameter of the crown is approx. 5,25 mm. Hope it helps. Kind regards. Mounir
I get the following measurements from mine: Diameter - 5.35-mm Depth - 2.25-mm Tube size - 2.0-mm Tap size - 1.2-mm - #6 2505-29 - serial 141xxxxx Omega logo is flat-foot style.
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I've since acquired another 2505 and the crown looks like this. Diameter is 5.3mm with 2mm tube and 1.2mm tap. The second picture is what I believe to be the same crown and the correct 2505 replacement. What do you guys think?
Hrm so you think the version on my other 10 million serial 2505 and on @omegastar watches are incorrect? Would love to see yours fitted with a flat foot 5.3mm if you don't mind posting.
