No love for the SM300?

Wow @bradurani , such a cool comparison and not a single OF'r gets all frothy over Porsche 911s? While I would love the second car, the long hood originals are such classics as to be equally desirable. Brown leather sport seats, sunroof, thru-grill driving lights...in Aubergine!
Thanks! TBH I heard Tim Mosso on WatchBox use a similar comparison talking about the Blue Black Bay (Blue Bay?)

Diving with the 300 today.

Beautiful 馃榾 I also took mine diving last year, great fun! Also had a bit of a scare as before one dive one of the spring bars broke when I was putting my gear on, luckily I had it on a NATO and I didn't lose or damage it. 馃槻

Ultimately sold it because I couldn't live with the thickness of the watch. But if Omega someday revise it and make it thinner I will be the first in line to buy it.

No problems with the watch for me, it worked great. I will be taking it again on my next dives.

I prefer the thickness exactly how it is, 14mm is around my sweet spot, anything thinner I do not prefer.

I'm not a diver, but I've been wanting to get the training and a recreational dive certification for a while now. It's awesome to see one of these watches being used for its designed purpose, underwater, not just looking shiny on the wrist. Thanks for posting this and sharing your adventure!

Looks as good in its environment as it does on land! Nice. I too love the thickness exactly as it is.

Also- I only wear mine on a nato for EXACTLY that reason; the possibility of spring bar failure. Mine has been with me in waters from the US to Italy, Bermuda and places in between. I love it.

Personally I love the look, and out of all the Omega divers, the least I can nitpick with it. Maybe too similar to my BB58 design wise, but twist/ lyre the lugs maybe reduce the height and I seriously consider it.

Daniel Craig was wearing the retro seamaster 300 ( big triangle) in one of the recent promo videos for the NTTD watch.

I'm just hoping it wasn't a retro version but a new prototype of the rumored revamped Seamaster 300!

I would be ecstatic if they went with that design reduced the case size and thickness by a smidge, which is exactly what the below watch looks like

It is not a prototype, he's had it since a long time now.

That looks so cool! Seeing the watch that I have being worn in its element, the way its made for. Nice!

When I bought a brown calfskin strap from an Omega boutique early this year it was $250. I think the price might have gone up a little since then.

I had the Spectre for a while but sold it
Why did you sell it? Was the watch too tall, or did it not get any wrist time?
