Can you post some photos of the scratches?

People should consider adjusting their expectations and not link "robustness" with price, especially with luxury mechanical watches. Precious metals which cost a lot more scratch very easily, just look at any gold (white or yellow) and platinum jewellery. My platinum wedding band looked brushed after a few years and it was originally polished.

If you don't want scratches on the bracelet then a silicon or fabric strap would serve better. I'll leave out leather since they will fall apart on a "diver" watch (implications of water in case it was too subtle).

    100% agree.

Here is my opinion: This is specially true for divers and other tool watches. They are tools. And if used as intended - not diving, I mean worn on a daily basis :) - they will get scratched, dinged and will look used after some time. I personally like that look. Every scratch and ding is a memory. It might be silly to compare a watch to a tool like a hammer, but keeping it in pristine condition should not be the aim with a tool watch. That's fine if you own a Jacob & co - not a titanium or steel diver.

Of course it's a different story if you are looking at watches as an investment, I have no idea about that. Not do I approve, but don't want to detail this thread :-P

That's kind if the concept for anything and everything yo can buy, wear, own and have around, from a pair of shoes, jeans, a t shirt, to any watch, to a hat.

But it's interesting to see it as a marketing narrative.

I'm laughing at the effort some sellers at Chrono24 take to cover up the numbers on the caseback..... Covering up the serial number on the lug I understand, but all the numbers on the caseback too? ::facepalm1::

New video reveals the watch is a gadget in the movie!

Caseback for the movie watch is different. The mesh at the back is different too with the copper strip... Nice to know its a gadget. I see a blinking helium valve in that clip, I knew they'll incorporate that valve to be some form of gadget!

Frankly, only in Bond movies has that He valve ever been used for anything.... and it wasn't for venting He buildup, precisely.

But apart from the straight end links, I really like this version better than the standard 300M.

We'll have to wait a few more months for the film!

No Time To Die Delayed Until 2021
To be released on 2 April
MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April 2021 in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience. We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year.

Yes, because at this rate, the movie theaters will be bankrupt by then, so they'll need to do it that way anyways.

So stupid. Do they think the situation will be better in April???? The situation by then would be no different from the current situation and if it really took a turn for the worse, they would only delay it again. They should just release the damn movie. Its better to earn something than earn nothing at all. The box office will not be the same as it was before. Movie studios shouldn't expect that they would earn as much as they did before the pandemic even if they release it at a later date. And if movies keep getting delayed over and over again, they might as well not plan for a release at all and other movies should not make any plans for any release because the situation won't be any better a few months or a year from now. This virus is here to stay for a long time and it's not gonna just disappear anytime soon.
