D DonnyDB5Kind of unfortunate to hear it’s so easy to scratch especially with how expensive it is.
Any tips on how to keep it looking new/remedy the scratches?
People should consider adjusting their expectations and not link "robustness" with price, especially with luxury mechanical watches. Precious metals which cost a lot more scratch very easily, just look at any gold (white or yellow) and platinum jewellery. My platinum wedding band looked brushed after a few years and it was originally polished.
If you don't want scratches on the bracelet then a silicon or fabric strap would serve better. I'll leave out leather since they will fall apart on a "diver" watch (implications of water in case it was too subtle).
Omega have stated that the scratching, and fading of the bezel, (and dial) is the exact reason they have chosen to go with this configuration.
The watch will age and mature with the owner. The narrative being, that each scratch, and the development of patina being unique to each wearer.
After a few years each one will be reflective of each individual owner's experience.
I love this concept but, as you say, this narrative is not for all 😀

I see a blinking helium valve in that clip, I knew they'll incorporate that valve to be some form of gadget!
