Omega brochure has just arrived after ordering January 2020. I wanted the new print as there was no Ploprof in previous version.

Lo & behold, no mention of Ploprof in latest version either!

Why would Omega not include this standard production piece in their catalogue?

I would be interested in your opinions Omega(W)ristas.

It's not front page material on their website either, they kind of burry it hoping no one finds it...
I don't see them releasing a newer version of it anytime soon (or ever) so I guess it's not worth their marketing efforts.

    Maybe they're too embarrassed?

Aw, come on, it can't be just me.

The style may not be for everyone's taste, but it is impressive that it is rated for a depth of 1200 meters.

Of course, that is about 1190 meters more than I'll ever use. :)

When I first saw mine in person I thought it was pretty ugly, the more I learned about it and the more I understood it's value and how it was actually used by my dad for what it was made to do the more I "fell in love" with it.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's pretty but definitely not ugly anymore.

My local AD has one in the window beside a Moonwatch and the size is impressive.

I love it, but not enough to pay 10k for one. If I win the lottery it's hitting the top of my to buy list.

It's a monstrosity. I think they were channeling Invicta when they brought it out.

I absolutely adore mine, it’s different to all the normal boring sh1t on the market & wears fantastically well.

I can’t understand why, with the history of the watch, the fact that they still make it & charge £9700+ for it, why it doesn’t warrant a single page in their brochure.

If they are not interested & no one is interested, it is simple, drop it!
