I made a new thread for watches actually made in the US. Didn’t want to sully any companies by being affiliated with this fuckster…I mean huckster.

As an offshoot to another thread that is currently weighing the merits of a line of watches marketed by a proponent of making US manufacturing “great again” yet selling cheap foreign made crap for insane money- I figured I would post an example of “made in USA” but didn’t want to sully any company’s reputation by being affiliated with the thread talking about that particular huckster.

One that I know of in my own backyard is Towson Watch Company (Towson being the county seat of Baltimore County- a mere 4 miles from me). I know nothing of the company other than I am aware they exist...
I think you were right first time…

BestWatchesOnEarthLLC... Just the name is cringy enough. I can't imagine anyone buying these watches.

As for the value, forbes says it could be 40k value in the 100k watch.

This is exactly what life was like when I was in college (except for the cocaine in Coca-Cola). The 5 for 5 at Arby’s was a staple.

So... At risk of getting the thread locked... When a politician does this... And there's presumably very high markup for the politician's 'brand', doesn't this look like something that could be used to facilitate an illegal donation of some kind?
That's why you have to buy them with DJT shares, to make sure your money makes it where it's 'supposed to go'

For us, we had the $1 Taco Bell, and a crappy place called Top Dog which had ".39 hot dogs, and hamburgs too." Plus a complete game room with an original George of the Jungle game that I had top score on for 2 years.

Oh yeah- the $1Taco Bell menu…Mexican pizza (in hindsight a bit culturally insensitive), 2 hard-shell tacos and a Dr Pepper for $5. Throw in a pack of Camels and gas money and you had a Saturday date night for under $10. Make Diabetes and Cancer Cheap Again!

I bought puts on this back in July. I didn't gamble much, but if it goes bankrupt, I'm gonna buy myself a mid-tier Seiko to celebrate.

Oops, that means we get 70s-style serial killers and more violent crime. I miss the old school Pizza Hut decor, but count me out.

Loved the Swiss Chalet style architecture (which for a pizza place seems odd in hindsight). Those red plastic cups had a very particular taste and mouth feel. For some reason their ice cubes were crunchier and soda fizzier out of those cups.

Man, I just got really nostalgic. When I was a kid, if I had a bad day, my parents would take me to Pizza Hut to cheer me up. I'm gonna go buy some red and white vinyl gingham tablecloths.

Make sure they are padded vinyl with a few cigarette burns in them to really get it right.
