He's not selling off his jewelry.
He's not even selling this jewellery. Trump has nothing to do with this brand, other than licensing them his name and image. It says so at the bottom of every page. It also then immediately contradicts that in the first question of the FAQ.

"Trump Watches are not designed, manufactured, distributed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals. TheBestWatchesonEarth LLC uses the “Trump” name, image and likeness under a paid license agreement which may be terminated or revoked according to its terms."

"ARE THESE OFFICIAL WATCHES BY PRESIDENT TRUMP?
These are only official Watches offered by President Trump and includes a replica of his famous signature!"

Also, note that the tourbillon is not water resistant (per the FAQ) and even though it costs six figures, they aren't even guaranteeing it will match the photos. Although, that might be a bonus because they look like cheap shit in the renders.

You'd have to be a real moron to buy this. So MAGA will probably lap it up.

So... At risk of getting the thread locked... When a politician does this... And there's presumably very high markup for the politician's 'brand', doesn't this look like something that could be used to facilitate an illegal donation of some kind?

Just a quick back of the matchbook calculation. For the Fighter range.
So it has an unbranded and often faked, Seiko movement, the movement if it is real is probably assembled in Malaysia with parts made in China and the case most likely from China. If it's a knockoff it will all be from china. with the final assembly done of the watch done in China It would be unlikely to cost then as much as $50 FOB for the whole watch., maybe as little as $15 FOB using knockoff junk.......... nice mark up at $500 to $800 retail direct sale, so no one else needing a bite out of the supply chain.

If you read the terms on the Trump bible page, it has similar language.
If you do a little digging, the company that sells them is basically a shell corp and the money finds it’s way back to him.
He has been stamping his brand on shit for decades with no investment of his own but licensing terms are always unspecified.
I have no doubt that his lawyers figured out exactly how to do this legally.
And frankly, I believe as a private citizen, he can sell anything he wants with his brand personally and keep the money for himself if it’s not affiliated with his campaign. I didn’t see anything related to campaign on any of his garbage for sale sites.

As an offshoot to another thread that is currently weighing the merits of a line of watches marketed by a proponent of making US manufacturing “great again” yet selling cheap foreign made crap for insane money- I figured I would post an example of “made in USA” but didn’t want to sully any company’s reputation by being affiliated with the thread talking about that particular huckster.

One that I know of in my own backyard is Towson Watch Company (Towson being the county seat of Baltimore County- a mere 4 miles from me). I know nothing of the company other than I am aware they exist...

Lol. TheBestWatchesOnEarth LLC principle and mailing address is located in a strip mall between a Sherwin Williams and a Wendy’s. It’s also the same address for the store selling his shoes..
