I thought Trump was a " Made in America " guy and yet it states quite plainly on the dial Swiss Made. When there's money involved principles obviously go out the door.
Considering that America had a fine watch making history, you'd think that this would be an ideal opportunity to rekindle it......but don't let real actual applied idealism get in the way of a quick buck eh!
I think these things usually start with someone pitching the idea to the person/brand. Whoever did that had a Swiss movement in the plan, and there’s not much time before the election to wait for another option using an American movement.
I wish they picked a different font though. I could do a better design using one of the standard fonts loaded in Word.
Either way, it looks fugly with those diamonds on the lugs.
