Good to have some confirmations, because I started to think I was delusional 馃榿

I'm a sucker for the red-tipped second hand prevalent on most of the variations but to me it seems like the new white with all blue indices and hands might be the mostlegible. I'd definitely like to see it in person though to confirm if this is actually the case.

I love this version. I love the blue bezel and the white dial. I have the white dial already with black bezel but this blue one may make me trade up. I wish it didn't have the Olympics stuff on it though. At least they didn't put it on the front of the watch this time.

Had the same initial response. Not sure I'll get the chance to see it in person before pulling the trigger but it is a beautiful rendition for sure,

Have any one heard when would the pieces be available. I heard first that end of April beginning of May. Today I read an article on watch magazine that it might be closer to the opening of the games.

I just spoke with my boutique and their first Tokyo SMP came in. I need to go to them for a new battery change so I'll be able to take a look at it today unless the person who put in a full deposit on it picks it up before then. If possible, I'll try to post pictures but it does look like that they are arriving at boutiques at least (not sure for ADs).

edit: I just picked mine up. I set it aside to other variations of the SMP and it didn't even come close, in my personal opinion. similar with my AT, my boutique wasn't able to discount but they ordered a blue rubber strap for me free of charge. two thumbs up for this variation and I predict it will definitely be a big seller!

The're now arriving at places. Someone from our local Polish watch forums picked one from Warsaw Omega boutique. Beautiful piece, something like Seamaster Snoopy 3 馃槈

If I didn't have the "polar white" version (which I love) I would probably pick the TOKYO.

These 2020 Olympic Seamasters are gorgeous. I suspect that these will remain popular. Congratulations to all who have acquired one!

Got mine yesterday

Do you ever find the blue exterior border of the raised markers to be too thin when trying to view them against the white backdrop of the dial? Beautiful watch though. Hope you enjoy it!

I can't speak for Pepe but since I own this variation too, I myself can say that it's still noticeable and not thin but it doesn't shout it so I think they made it to have a nice and subtle appearance.

I don鈥檛 find them too thin. I think that you can distinguish the blue from the white pretty easy.

Question for those who have picked it up...are there limited edition markings on the back, or did Omega decide not to LE this version?

Nope, all we have is the Tokyo 2020 logo and then the typical serial number, Omega logo and "Stainless Steel" marking on the different corners of the back of the case. With this being the case, my understanding is that it's a Special Edition and not a LE.
