·Hi all,
Was given this as a gift a few years ago, co-incidently at the same time I hit 10 years at my job and was given a new TAG Aqua Racer which I have worn for the past few years. Now I feel I prefer the Omega that has been sitting in my drawer but would like to know something about it. I can tell the winding pin is not original , but don't know about the rest. Price paid was US$350 about 5 years ago. It has an automatic movement, not a bumper, (although seems to gain about 5min per day). It is gold plated on the front and steel on the back. I would like to know the model number so I can order a nice leather strap (where is best to by these onLine?)
Appreciate your input. Also, my wife has taken an interest, although I can't find any vintage Omegas that she likes, what sites would you recommend to look for vintage ladies watches? And what brands hold their value (around the us$500 -us$700 mark)
Thanks for your time,
Adam
