hi guys, thanks for having me here 😀
I'm new to Omega and bought the NTTD today, super excited by it. I bought it on the NATO strap and I want to order the Milanese bracelet.
Thank God I found this thread because it looks like I may be better off buying the short version (my AD didn't know it exists)...
My write is 6.5 inches (16.5cm).
I have 2 questions:
- would the short bracelet be better for me given my wrist size?
- what is the ref of the short bracelet? would be useful for my AD...
Thanks a lot 😀
(deleted from another thread and posted here as it seems more pertinent)
Al/Archer gave the part numbers in page 1 of this thread. You should be able to reference to that.
I think you should go for the short one, but it will ultimately depend on your wrist shape.
Correct👍
I would go to your AD and try whichever they have there so you can get an idea of the size and fit. Then you can reference sizes better
thanks. I tried the regular length yesterday evening and it was too long and i had too much spacing on the sides of the wrist. I understand the shorter strands may not fix it since it seems related to the size of the buckle, but it will be better than the regular length strands for me i guess
for sure. Do you have a sense of how much shorter than the regular you would need? I don't even know if the regular one is the longest one or mid one so I guess what I am saying is: Yes you need a shorter one. But how much shorter?
Anyone has any idea how does the lume age with time? i saw someone sharing a picture of their aged 007 NTTD on one of the FB groups and it seemed like the lume plots had turned slighly white at the edges ! I should have taken a screenshot of it and now i cant find out which FB forum it was shared on.
Its hard to find consistent info on the watch.
So many YouTube reviews and articles talk about how the anodised aluminium is designed to age. …I’ve even seen a few where it talks about the beautiful patina that will be developed …..which is all very weird because the point of anodised aluminium is it does not age or patina and can last 40+yrs.
I asked in the Omega store on the weekend and was told that no the dial and bezel will not age or patina.
I didn’t ask about the lume but I don’t think it’s designed to age either. It’s designed to be a little non-uniform and some speckling is visible but I don’t think that’s supposed to continue to happen.

Just look the Youtube video about it. The bezel and the dial will age. There a mentioned it in the video. I hope this will help.
I think the VP of product development should know it ;-)

I have not tried on one but I’m considering. My AD discouraged me though as they didn’t think its worth it (usd 1600++). Once you order cannot return too. And I need to sell the standard piece which may be hard to find buyer
