Just picked up my new SMP and was happy to see that Omega has developed the deployment clasp for the rubber strap. I was originally going to just buy an aftermarket one but this one just oozes Omega quality. Apparently they just developed these for the Swiss military and they are just starting to hit the OB's now. It costs a little bit more than the standard rubber strap with the tang buckle but I think its worth it.

I'm just surprised that, as this thread is now exactly 12 hours old, NOBODY has told the OP that it's a DEPLOYANT, not DEPLOYMENT clasp.

😉

(I'm just in squirrel mode, so you can ignore me)

😁

On a serious note, these clasps are great watch savers during donning/doffing a watch. Just open the clasp, slip your dainty in and close it.

No fumbling with buckles etc.

I paid a little less than that but I believe I only paid for the clasp and the OB threw the strap in. That's probably accurate for the entire setup.

Sorry, before the comments come in, I know it's £215 + £215.
