Does anyone that owns one have a scale and know what the weight of just the watch head is? Would be interesting to see just how much lighter this is compared to the standard.

All I can say is that it's definitely very light. It's 97g on the mesh and 73g on the nato. My steel 2220.80 SMP is 160g and my Aqua Terra 144g.

Thanks for the information. It's interesting that is is 73g on the Nato. I know my speedy is 64g without strap (71g on my lightest leather) so maybe the movement is significantly heavier than the 1861 given the titanium vs steel construction.

But not a replica, looking like an Omega but it does not say Omega! So why is it a replica/fake.

    Typically,
    - replica = copy that closely resembles the original, with purpose to benefit from the original's popularity
    - fake/counterfeit = exact copy, including markings, with purpose to fool consumers

This one here, the VSF NTTD watch. The same "factory" that did the copy of the grey SMP that Watchfinder did a video of. The case is made of titanium. Their NTTD is the one that someone has been going around ebay recently selling off as the real ones which were reported. Fooling others into thinking its the real one.

With mesh. Easy to spot as the mesh looks different with the real one in particular the part behind the endlinks. And it's stainless steel mesh.

Harder to spot on the nato. But those with a sharp eye for detail would be able to tell the fake and genuine nato apart.

With that said, its scary how close and convincing they look. So do be careful when dealing online if you intend on buying the real one. Look out for serial number 82186396 which the fake NTTD watch use. Otherwise just buy from the boutique or AD so you won't be cheated into paying thousands of dollars for a fake.

hello everyone, a replica is nice to have if I have to go to the worst place in a city, I wear it and if I get robbed I have no problems. the problem is when you buy it or you have to sell it if you are a good person, when you buy it careful customs police etc. when you sell it put it on ebay, you know how many people want to buy it at a fair price, many much easier to sell a replica than a original. but it's illegal, everyone does it. you know what i don't like when an original is replaced with parts from other watches similar models, different selling costs, cheated buyer as an original watch. it's better to buy a replica. you pay 200 € but not 9k. many people cry bad experiences.

an example, some the serial number does not match the serial number of that model. model produced in 2008 serial 84xxx same model produced in 2008 serial 81xxx.omega produced the first 84xxx and last from 84xxx because the 81xxx exist.

If you're scared to get robbed, just wear another watch or no watch at all. A replica is never an option, you're just supporting a business model that is built on stealing other people's ideas.

The brown dial didn’t agree with my eyes on the NTTD as stunning as it is.

This bad boy arrived today though. Absolutely stunning in person.
