In every article I’ve read online since the release it’s been mentioned that it’s not limited. Seems weird that your AD thinks otherwise.
Limited availability and limited edition are two different things.
But that what he told, I’ll call another in Cal for double checking.

Also, what's gnawing at me is whether Omega putting a military arrow on the dial and a faux mil serial number on the caseback is in some way a bit disrespectful to genuine military watches and servicemen. Be interested to know whether this has crossed the minds of OFers who have served.
You can apply to have NATO NSNs issued as did Newmark for their remake.

Love the look of this. Price is the price, get on board or don’t. I am very partial to a bit of faux patina. Adds the warmth of vintage to that new watch construction and reliability.
I’ve already got a BB58 and Oris 65 but does this look too similar to add to the collection? Neither of these will be sold but I’m being strongly drawn to adding this in the future. At least I’ll have time to see if the feeling passes before it’s available.

Omega has confirmed that both the dial and bezel will fade in time. I like that.

Omega Boutique on 5th Avenue told me it’s not limited, but the number they get ‘will be’ - whatever that means .... may be something between normal supply and a Rolex [insert steel sports watch] situation .... I put a deposit down, but I’m second guessing myself every time I think about it - seems like a lot of coin on the one hand, but on the other, not really ‘worse value’ than a sub etc... Figure I’ve got a few months to gather my thoughts!

It means 'rolex' to me.

Humour me here, I'm not a man of the modern 300 and think it could look a million times better.
Thinks I don't like, the helium release valve and the sculpted bezel.
So.. I've taken a few liberties with the new Bond watch, and the Spectre watch see below

1. No Helium release valve and Spectre shaped bezel.

2. No Helium release valve and Spectre shaped bezel, with steel inner ring.

3. Spectre case and Spectre shaped bezel, with a steel inner ring.

4. Spectre case and Spectre bezel, with steel inner ring.

Thoughts?

The lume for the minute hand for this watch is white or green like the regular SMP 300M?

Each photoshopped iteration moves closer and closer to the SM300MC...which I feel is a much more attractive watch anyway 😁

IMHO Omega will never remove the HEV from the SMP300M. Then it becomes a different watch... Maybe the SMP300.

Especially when one considers they go for around 4K on the grey market
