I'm a huge fan of the skeleton hand Seamaster, and even love the Bond/Omega connection, but this is pretty terrible. Not only is this aesthetically unappealing to me, it's commemorating what exactly? The 50th anniversary of the 5th Bond movie? Wtf is that?

Exactly - I wouldn't be surprised if they did a Q edition commemorative piece

Not a fan. The gold hands, although I understand the significance, simply do not work (for me). Personally I they were going to make something special I think "Bond" themed dial based on the Ceramic no date would have been the way to go. With 707 rather than 7007 being produced. I mean is 7000 of a niche watch really an LE at all? ... not in my book. This will be available at 30% off within a year.

Not sure if he was allowed to or not, but Ben from Hodinkee just confirmed on today's podcast (Ep. 59) that the new screen-worn watch is cased in titanium, and has a more 'military feel'. If true, and the milanese is also titanium, and if it's got an 8900-series movement, I'm not sure I'll be able to turn this one down.

As far as I know release of new Bond movie is expected on November 8th, 2019. Which should mean we are to expect the themed Seamaster any time soon!

A pity on one side and on the other .... well any timing is fine as long as the piece is well done and deserve to be appreciated!
