New alligator strap for my 18k Constellation

This is the third strap I have had this gentleman make for me...the first for my Omega. I like the glossy look but I wanted something a little different than the usual black. This dark navy blue alligator is just the thing. The light picks up the blue and gives the strap more depth and life. These are not cheap and they are not actually expensive. I was quoted $275 for factory made Hadly Roma ones, made in China. Velle Alexander is in Minneapolis. Because I have never bought a ready made strap that I didn't have to punch a hole in to get it to fit to my liking, having a custome made strap allowed me to pinpoint exactly where I wanted the holes so that I new I would have a perfect fit. I also don't like heavily padded straps. I have mine made without an padding...and it is amazing how soft and comfortable the hide gets from wearing. Anyway, the watch deserves it.
