Some shots of a 1970's Speedmaster in sunlight and on a new alligator strap that I wanted to share

I rarely take photos of my watch, but when I do, it tends to be when it's very sunny out.

I did some traveling over the past few weeks and managed to take a couple of shots of my Speedy on a flight while it was quite sunny:

And here's one on a new alligator strap (I was never a fan of alligator straps on sports watches but I think this pairs quite well):

Photographing in sunlight is difficult. The camera tries to find optimized exposure, but often the highlights are over the moon and the shadows are too dark. Phones capture better images than large sensor cameras. Nice shots!
    My Speedy says hello.

That looks very cool. How long you have been that watch of yours?

The bezel on the first one looks grey - sunlight or faded color?
