Hello all. Just wondering if we have many U.K. members here? I have recently got into collecting Omega so would be good to buy and trade with U.K. people? Thanks.
To reply simply , yes there are thousands of U.K. Members here.

Seeing as travel, international postage and social gathering are all kiboshed maybe we need a UK specific trading sub-forum? Semi-joking, semi-serious.

Like all Brits, I’d like to remain included in the main forum and also have special privileges.

Only if we get a "great deal".

I'm curious to know what would make UK members different to any other country or region? All of those things above to many other countries and regions are they not?

Welcome Jerseyhammer

You are a lucky man, I lived on Jersey 87-91 & still miss the place. I try to get back now each year.

Stay safe & don’t lick Hettich’ windows too much.

Still, having commented on @Jerseyhammer’s post on this thread, I thought I should come clean about living in London - and not, as @Omegafanman might have thought after my response to his WRUW yesterday, in Bolton, despite being a Wanderers supporter 😎

I'm not a UK resident, but certainly have the ancestry on my mother's side. My family arrived in the U.S. from England in the 1600s. I visited London a fews years ago and it was nice to finally make that connection.

That must have been some trip …

(Edit: I was actually thinking of your ancestors’ rather than yours 😉)

Even more harrrowing than you might imagine. One of my ancestors was killed by a native American in a skirmish not long after he arrived.

What prompted their decision to sail west? Religious persecution, politics ….?
Both hugely expensive and a pretty irrevocable decision
