路Seriously though, I agree when it comes to shipping and customs you might first look for a UK based deal. However we have both shipped to and received watches and parts from the Philippines and USA with fellow UK watch collectors over many years and never ran into any snags.
I guess it could get worrisome if one was a bigshot playing with big bucks stuff but for us no biggie as we're just bottom feeders 馃榿
