Thankfully this nonsense story is all over the internet. Con man or just delusional, it's highly unlikely anybody will actually fall for it.

Any search show this trashing his theories.

I am ashamed to admit I watched that entire video, and it is very likely I know less than ever as a result. It was completely without value and provided zero information. I am beginning to see why many here are not able to simply ignore Steve, but they are ANGRY. I'm perturbted that he caused me to waste those few minutes watching that video. From here on, if I post in this thread, shame on me.
Let's say you took one for the team. Now all future readers will know there is no point in watching this video 😁 👍

This NASA archive proves the inconsistency’s in the Batch numbers theory.
Oh look more proof you know nothing... You know that the reason for those few higher serial numbers is very very well documented as to why those are like that right? You apparently have no clue as to why they are.

but sure... if your so sure of this, doesn't that mean less proof that yours is the watch you claim it is? Since your claim is based on it being from the same batch? Please call your doctor, your meds need to be readjusted.

Please start from the beginning and read carefully, I have NEVER stated that it is a part of any ”BATCH”. It was shipped one week before and on the Friday before Collins was shipped, on November 29th 1968 the same day and delivered to Morris Omega’s Agency in New York. Aldrin was a backup pilot for Apollo 8. All of the Apollo 8 watches were calibrated on December 2, 1968.

Hi @Steve Morley
I am really interested in your watch, as I have a similar Speedmaster myself.
Being from Sweden, English is not my first language, so maybe every little detail in this thread is not clear to me.
But can you please share pictures of your watch, we are 7 pages in without seeing a single picture of it, please share.

Best regards
Henrik

Henrik, I appreciate your tone and request, although due to the sensitive nature of this matter. I have no intent to post photos. I have sent copy’s to Omega, and during the discovery phase of the Lawsuit to the Smithsonian, Aldrins attorney, and the United States Government did receive them. Thank you for your understanding. Regards, Steve

In an odd way, I admire your relentlessness. Can everyone else (and I mean everyone) be wrong and you right?

No since NASA and Omega have the real SN of the watch and are not releasing it for obvious reasons. They have already confirmed his is not the watch.

I know it’s not the real watch. I just think his obtuseness is interesting. He obviously thinks it’s entertaining to keep running around the tree on this.

Of course you won't post photos. If you actually proved ownership of the watch, you'd go to prison.

I believe you are a sad, lonely man who is desperate for a little attention. Perhaps you should get a hobby--birdwatching, book club--where you could meet up with other lonely people.

Do not give him ideas... It'll end by him having found the Tables of the Law or a Pterosaur egg ready to hatch

Why won't they release the serial number? It could help them eventually locate it if it were public knowledge.
