Just not as easy as it seems, to say which is the fave 👎. The Connies from Chris & Kyle are certainly my most favored! but that's already celebrated elsewhere here on OF. Some have come in after a long & tortured process, learning from a few ninjas here on OF, missing a few snipes 😡 ..... and honestly, others, just plain luck!

So here goes ...

Connie black and Longines Conquest power res

All black Conquest

PG-Capped Conquest ( guess @cristos71 was right? )

All black AG

Thanks to Chris, Kyle, Eric, John, Mac, Dennis, Yada Yada Yada (just can't say too much thank u's)

Happy holidays you all!!

I'm new to the watch world as of January 2015 when I purchased my first Carrera CV2111-0, Then my Omega PO in May, Then my first vintage watch, an Omega Cal320 in August, and the best one last week, my one owner Omega 165.024 Big Triangle

The 300 from the bezel looks like it was used as a diver. Probably has some great history, the British were issued them as divers watches. Of course in the days when only expensive watches could do the job no G Shock in them days.

Wow, great thread. There are a lot of beautiful watches displayed in the thread. I've definitely taken some notes... lol.

New to Omega this year - have two and am seriously thinking of a stainless Globemaster. We'll see.

The two that I have? I PO GMT and a Tintin. I like the PO better than the Tintin, but maybe that's just because I haven't found the right occasion for the Tintin.

And, you know what? It's tough to take good pictures when you're riding down the road. lol.

Last one for the year 😀

I have the occasion to get one, but I don't know if it's worth 4000 bucks...

First post. I acquired both of my nice watches in the last two weeks. I have bought and sold about 18 before that earlier in the year.

Outside of a few other brands, a few Speedies hit the collection this year; among the most notable was the TV Dial, a 4.5 and a Broad Arrow and to end the year on a continuing high:

And the need for speed will continue into 2016...

Greetings everyone, newbie here, more of an enthusiast than a collector - but with a keen interest. Thanks for showing those really nice watches.

Stainless steel, Royal Air Force 1942 - Omega 6B/159.

Small at 33mm but 26000 bph - and an alligator NATO.

A restoration project, like the yellow lume on the old dial.

Post office closes after tomorrow, so picking this one up this morning will likely make it the last arrival in 2015.
A seemingly completely virgin Omega Seamaster 176.007. Gently used, but definitely not abused!
Original starburst finish is almost without a mark!
Have not had the chance to inspect the "internals", but it at least performs and resets well.
A bit of PolyWatch and then.....
😀

Debated to post a separate thread regarding my purchases, but think this is enough for now. Let me know otherwise.

It's been a crazy first year into vintage watches. Here are some that stayed in the collection.

Would like to thank forum members for the help throughout this year!
