.
I bought the next two watches from fellow OF members. This UG Polerouter Date from @jordn.

I feel for you...if you do ever require relief from that albatross of a Polerouter, I would be more than willing to take on the burden for you. 'T'is the holiday season and I am feeling magnanimous...

We're talking "year to date," right? 'Cause I still have 28 days in my year, and this disease being what it is... 😉
Really, I think I'm done for the year.
I was honestly not expecting to bring the tally to 17, but this disease being what it is...
I ordered another JeanRichard chrono while waiting for the first:

Then decided I needed a third one because...well because I'm just obsessed. So, I returned the Hamilton Linwood (too small) and used the credit to get this one (seller's picture):

Now I really REALLY think I'm done for the year. My watch fund is SO depleted. Recovery begins in two weeks 😉

@Time Exposure, you love those flat chrono pushers, hmm?
Well, I do still have this one:

But it is now outnumbered six to one, so...
Yup. Busted! 😉

Edit: and only one of my seven chronographs has a sweep seconds hand that is NOT red...
Hmmm...Mr. Predictability reporting for duty...

This year (so far).

I started the year with the Wittnauer and the Hamilton, then picked up the XL Seamaster Polaris Titane, the Mk3 Speedmaster, the Tag Heuer 1000, and finally the Seamaster Chronostop last week.

@NT931 This Grand Seiko of yours 🥰🥰🥰

Back to OP, not much this year - many of my watches were offered a full service though - except for a couple of Speedies ... on my wife request ( true story 😎 )

First was mine, a 145.022-68ST, thanks to Pete @Barking mad 👍 ... previous property of Paul @Darlinboy 😉 ... a forum watch you might say, which travelled a lot actually.

The 2 pictures below were taken actually on our way to buy my wife an Explorer 1016 ...

... except she felt in love with my watch 😲 and wanted the 1016 no more.Oh boy !!! Women ... 😜

Ok then, let's start the hunt for her Speedy 🙄 . We tried some - amongst them were a 145.022-69ST, a Gemini IV...

...the FOIS, etc ... - but eventually she chose the so called "Tintin", kind of a Speedmaster with a bit of fashion she said 😁

Tadaaaa ...

... and finally do they live happily ever after 🥰

To be continued ... ?!?

Late entry, Aquadive Time-Depht, circa 1976/79

Quiet year due to an expensive house renovation.

'68 Transitional that needed work

Crosshair Seamaster that's since moved on.

Hamilton with Valjoux 7730 that's hung around.

@gemini4

They'll have to change your tagline to "Hoarder of Sea." Sheesh!

By the way nice kickstands on your roll! 😜

2015 was very different than 2014 for me. Last year I was in a crazy buying spree, then I looked at my bank account and told myself to chill out for a year. I only had two acquisitions this year, but please don't make me pick a favorite between them. Silver Snoopy and gold Apollo-Soyuz.

Among others, two chronometers:

A chronograph:

And the most unexpected of all: bought her for practical reasons and then fell in love

I had wanted one example of a chronograph in the collection, had the Speedmaster on the "want list." joined the Forum in late 2014 so had to go ahead and get a Speedmaster by the first weeks of January 2015.

For some reason both these old Omega automatics keep bubbling to the surface of my mind as dual favorites of the past year. They both rehabilitated nicely and are excellent timekeepers. They both seem to go to the office with me a lot.

These give a much better appearance in person than in my photographs.
