Yes, the Metro is of very impressive quality, and I love the quirky styling.

+1

also picked up recently a used orion 38mm (fairly big, but I love the way they handled the date-window) ... and its finish etc... is PERFECT. Took the loupe to it and there is literally nothing that is not perfect on this watch ... quality is on par with what you can expect from new O's or RLX

Nomos is def. a company to look out for in the future ...

Hard to pick only one, as there will be about 30 others (yes, I know, I am very, very sick...) who will not only be jealous, but may take offense and stop working! Now, none of you would want that, would you?

But I do admit that I particularly like these:

this one. And the best thing about it is it's from a forum member - and we were even able to meet and have a chat when doing the trade. Thanks again. It's a watch I really appreciate.

Sourced separately two, all original, 105.002-62 with serial numbers just 17 digits apart. Even the 7912/6 bracelets have same date imprint!

One year ago, the "finest" watch I owned was a quartz chronograph that I bought in Switzerland 20+ years ago. I was a happy, sane person.

The madness began this year, when I bought this watch for Mrs. Jones.

Shortly thereafter, Mrs. Jones give me this watch as a gift.

Call it madness, call it sickness.....I was afflicted. Shortly thereafter I bought this

Then I found this in a pawn shop. Had to have it.

Then, while getting a bracelet adjusted at an Omega Botique, this fell out of the sky and onto my wrist.

Then, for purely entertainment purposes, I bought this -- a Swiss Railway clock I could strap to my arm

And now I have a whole host of watches on my radar.... from Rolex, Jaeger LeCoultre, Blancpain......

What will 2016 bring??? Without doubt, more madness.

I have had a stellar year this year. I have had to sell a couple but I have acquired a whole lot more. They are all special, some just more than others. Here are just a couple of note🥰

This year has been great for me! My knowledge has grown exponentially, although still some way to go to be knowledgeable.
I have purchased 4 watches this year and I'm sure things will only get worst in the future as my income, know-how and status on the forum (number of comments😁) increases. Two of my favourites include a Nomos Club and a SS Constellation with arrow head indices. Both have incredible dials which constantly change in changing light. Hopefully I can add a nice Speedmaster in 2016.
I do not own the Metro but thought it appropriate to show my Dunkel alongside one that is already in this thread.
