You might like seeing this lego model at the Intrepid museum in NYC

That aircraft carrier is cool! It's such a shame Lego never actually release sets this huge, even as ltd eds.

I have 2 of the large Mil Falcons and was hoping they might climb in value so I could sell one but now I might sell both just as they take up so much room! Got to keep one to build one day though.. 😉

I can't remember if I bought the space rocket - I hope I did... it's all packed away.

There are Chinese knock off sets which are actually pretty impressive - large scale AT-ATs for example that are way better designs than Lego themselves. And Star Wars Star destroyers... man I need to get me one of those too.

what is special about it? it says they are limited to the "maximum of 4000 pieces" - what does than mean? was this a competiton or something? thanks!

It was a limited edition crowdfunded by the initial orders… it was sold out in couple of hours though… the design is from a Lego fan (not modified as per Lego Ideas) with a 4000-piece limit to submit the design.

I'm not much for spending time on Youtube, but I watched this vid all the way through and enjoyed every second.

My wife just left for a prestigious artist retreat for a few weeks. Hoping this fills the void and keeps my kid and I distracted, for a couple weeks at least.

Here the Senna MP4/4. Really enjoyed building this. Some nice touches, like some of the hidden building bricks that you never see are in the colours of the Brazilian flag. Working steering is cool too.
