    Not tarnished gold is it ?

    Have seen a gold case like that on a longines once before and it polished up to reveal a stunning case.

    It can be dirt on the gold indeed. I’ve seen it on gold plated cases stored for a long time.

    That looks great, IMO. Is it a gold capped watch that has tarnished? There was a Rolex (forgot the ref) auctioned off for a fortune not too long ago which had tarnished in the same way.

    That oil quenched look. I take it the "A" crown is for the alarm?
