Although there are plenty of things to be disappointed about with this watch, I would not return a watch that was otherwise accurately described (and I'm not opining on whether this one was or not) simply because a hand came off in transit. That happened to me as part of my purchase of a watch that is without question one of the best watches in my collection. The minute hand came off at some point during shipment, there was no damage to the dial, and I simply had my watchmaker remount the hand and moved on. The watch was otherwise spectacular and remains so. No regrets.
