I just purchased this Omega while browsing vintage watches on EBay; I’d appreciate any information about it I can get.

I’ve recently picked up the hobby of “watch making” and I’ve been trying to collect a broad variety of brands and movements. Unfortunately most of my purchases have been with minimal due diligence; this watch especially.

Is there a ref #, or model I can Google?

As a hobbyist watch maker you'll certainly have the tools to open the case. When you do that you'll find the reference number, that will give you all the info you need to further your research....to me it looks very much like a ref 166.0169 with cal 1022. But then I'd expect to see Geneve on the dial.

Thank you! I agree the lack of ‘Geneva’ printed on the dial is alarming to me as well.
