Hahaha ... The running seconds dial is day of the week :/

There's very very little right about this.

Quite confident this watch is authentic given listing source, but any insight as to whether (a) the dial was redone; or (b) if not, which model this is? Thanks all!!!

Do you have a photo of the movement that was taken less than 20 feet away? What is this mystical reference?

Looks like Mr U. K. Raine ran short of "genuine military Omega" cases to stuff his pocket watch movements into. But never mind, he had a spare Poljot case. Yeah, that'll do!

Hi all. New member here, about to pick this, my dream watch up but just checking it's real.
I know the picture isn't dead on but the rest of the photos are of angles. I think it is and I've seen the picture of the movement (1120) with numbers matching case and card.
Just guess I'm looking for a little more clarification please.
    Thanks

You might want to post this in the Vintage forum since it was modern in the 50s.

    Hi everyone!
Newbie user, and probably like so many here, I've registered in this forum before making a purchase so I could use the help of some trained eyes.
A chap here in my city is selling an Omega Speedmaster (Michael Schumacher edition, so I'm told) for around 1500 EUR / $1600.

I don't believe it to be a fake, though I'm not a specialist. Also, the unfilled warranty card at one of the pictures left me a bit suspicious, but it could be nothing.
Anyway, here's my two simple questions:
    1. Is this a fake or the real deal?
    2. If it happens to be real and in pristine condition (as the seller says), would the mentioned price be a good deal?
    Thanks.
I've decided to finally save up and purchase a quality piece, and don't want to risk parting with my hard earned cash for a replica...
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Cheers!

Hi Andre, the blank warranty card would worry me. Is that the only card that comes with the watch? Personally, I would take it to a specialist watch dealer and ask them to verify and check the movement before parting with any hard earned cash. The fakes are so close these days to the untrained eye they're very hard to tell from the real thing.

For piece of mind, take it and get it checked out by someone who knows would be my advice.

Please let us know how you get on.
