So, I'm happy to be corrected, but I'm not aware of any variant of the 145.022 that carries an applied logo on a no-step dial, with long indices, but without the "professional" designation. Also, the Speedmaster text looks off and the hour and minute hands look wrong - check out those stumpy little short lume tracks. Weird. Maybe it's not literally "all" wrong. But something seems off here

There is something very fishy about that watch. Your observations are correct. The movement would give more clues. But that appears to be a modern 321 service dial. A 321 dial can be modded to fit an 861 movement. My gut is all new service parts and an unknown movement. It could be a legit Omega 321 or 861, or a tissot or ??? from another non Omega watch that used the same movement.

If it has a full Omega movement and it's all service parts, it's described correctly. It is also currently over priced at a buy it now of $4100 usd.

If you could find out the exact model, compare it to known good models. I'm not an expert on the newer coaxial models but a few known red flags are trim around the date window and the helium valve location. It should be higher than 10:00 on the case rather than lower.
This model is heavily faked. A newish Omega like this would likely have the box and papers. Without papers? 😒

Pulled a pic from the web. Just note a few minor differences. Date window on the web pic is beveled and the seconds markers extend taller than yours. A pic of the back would make things easier.

Not sure about the PO, but I know the SMP is rounded corners at the date window for the newer versions. Is there a serial number at the lug behind the 7 position that matches the card?

You haven't stated what model it is, and features do change from year to year. If it came on a bracelet, I believe the reference is 232.30.42.21.01.001. Comparing your watch with a big blowup of the reference on Authentic Watches, they appear identical, including all points of contention mentioned here so far. But, you still need close pics of the back, and seeing the movement without the caseback wouldn't hurt, either. I agree with redpcar that a watch this new would likely have a box and some sort of written authenticity document. Buy the seller. Is it a well known seller, or just some guy from The Hood? I think I'd ask him to accompany me to an AD to have it verified, and walk away if he squirms.

I agree with the above comments and in my opinion, the box and papers (i.e the red chronometer card, reference card etc) are as important as the watch. Call me "Mr Suspicious" but there is NO WAY anyone would dispose of the box and papers after spending £000's on an Omega, or another luxury watch for that matter. No box/papers then I would walk away....if your heart is set on it or if it's too cheap to miss, then you must take it to a AD and get them to verify the movement. Good luck.

Box and papers are way easier to fake and are no guarantee of getting a genuine watch.

Buy the seller not the watch.

My point was that the absence of papers and the like is suspicious. True, everything can be faked.

Hi, I'm new on this forum and wanted you guys to look at this Speedy Panda I'm thinking of buying. I own an Omega Seamaster and Im looking to add this watch. I just don't know if it's legit. I did ask about the papers and box. The seller thinks that the box is original to the watch but there are no cards. Could you guys have a look and let me know if you see anything unusual. Thanks.
