Is this Ebay Tools Seller for real?

Dear folks,

I was shopping for tweezers on the Bay, and found this listing

Thing is, he has more of the same article to sell. And being that this is allegedly a used set of tweezers, how can he have another one with the same exact configuration?
This goes also for other listings like this one

At this point I thought, these are just replicas sold as used tweezers.

Interestingly though, the seller has 2709 reviews with 100% satisfaction.
I also found him mentioned in a post from 2010 in another forum, so it looks like he has been in business all this time.

So what gives? Can you help me understand how he can have used articles, in very precise configurations, multiple times?

Tweezers used in the watch production industry can become "out of standard" and therefore are replaced at regular intervals.

While a bit worn for professional use, they are fine for people like us. I've bought items like this previously and after dressing them they are great tweezers.

PS: Let me know if it's a scam 😉.

If he's legit, I'm thinking he probably has connections to workshops in Switzerland or even manufacturers old stuff, judging from his other listings.
The funny/scammy name and the broken English with which he answered my enquiries, are for sure tickling my red flags sense though

Ok I realize that can come off badly, so let me try to defend what I wrote: “besos100” basically means “kisses100” in Spanish, which is not something you would associate with a watchmaking tools dealer in Switzerland, at least it comes off as funny to me.

The broken English part, in an age in which you have perfect translation for every language at your fingertips, also comes off as careless and not what I would expect from someone in the business since at least 2010.

I can say that he has been very friendly so far, scammer or not : )

Also none of this would be a red flag per se, if there was not the thing with the multiple used items in the same configuration. That’s what really bothers me

Buying on eBay is pretty safe, selling not so much.

Can see absolutely no issues. Seller is on eBay since 2003, has close to 3k all positive feedback, has sold 4.7k items, sells mainly horological/ related items and is located in Switzerland where it’s likely he sources much of his stock.

Not everybody in Europe is totally conversant in English.
I've noticed, on some web forums, that some of the folks from England have some of the worst grammar and spelling. And don't get me started on those Americans! OMG. 😉

Us Canadians have it hard too, we use a mix of American and British spellings. Almost all online dictionaries, if they give you a choice at all, it’s American or British spellings. And pronunciations, same.

I have multiples of tools and other items that I like. For example, I play the bass and I have three - yes three - ProCo RAT distortion pedals. Why? Because I want three. Hell, I may buy a fourth. Regarding watches, I also have multiples of the exact same tweezers and screwdriver sets. Yes, people can have several of the exact same items and not be scammers.
