I was hoping that is the case since an eBay link anyone posts on OF automatically receives OF's unique identifier string. eBay has rules around which referral qualifies for a commission, so I don't think every click makes money.

OF helps raise the price of auction style sales, so earning a small commission makes a lot of sense to me.
