From the pics it would appear to be legit. Hard to fake that movement with quality finishing. No mention of paperwork though.

The serial number is visible in one of the photos, you could ask Omega Customer Service to run a reference check for you.

Box isn't correct for it, and I wonder what's up with that "date of production" card, with "formaldehyde" misspelled

Have you seen the replica of this watch movements they're putting out lately? Look like the ebay one. The date on the ebay watch is sunken below the face. K7t6Cgj.jpg

I think this post is interesting and deserves a better title - I have owned two DSOTM (long story) and currently have 2 x 9300 movements (steel + a DSOTM). These are the eBay photos for the advert...

I cant see anyway to loose the visibility of the date numerals on an Omega original watch from that angle. The numerals on the bezel and the strap quality also don't smell right, but it is good and my old eyes start playing tricks. It is the wrong box and the serial numbers (you can see them both) on the case and movement don't appear to match. Below is a screen grab of the serial numbers + photos of 100% genuine DSOTM. Interested what others think / makes me think twice about putting close ups of movements online....

Yikes. Take a look at the most important part—the dial. It’s hard to really appreciate on pictures, but when you compare this to a real DSOTM in person you would see the finishing differences. Hands looks cheap, markers are too boxy, red Speedmaster script looks like a laser printer vs painted on with a pad, etc.

It's clearly fake...the serial number not being 8 digits should be a pretty easy giveaway...plus the fact that the stud carrier has no stud in it, and there's a second stud carrier below, etc...so much wrong with this...

I have done my best to stop the sale (I don't like to watch a crime in progress/ I suspect the seller is also innocent). I cant report the item (eBay is blocking that?) and the seller is not convinced...…

The serial is 8 long. Those experts don't know what they are talking about. Feel free to cancel. I'm not leaving it to few who call themselves pro to judge a 100% authentic watch. Thank you for the message

If there are 8 digits in the serial number, why does the movement only show 6? The other digits aren't covered, they just aren't there.

This is so clearly a fake I have serious doubts that the seller wouldn't be aware of it.

Oh he knows... He threatened me with "legal action" for posting it here.

Based on his reply to Omegafanman I'm not surprised.

Tried to report it but the system wouldn't let me....it said the item number wasn't valid.

If anyone still has doubts, this is the serial number shown in the listing:

And when I look this up on the Omega Extranet:

Serial number: 87420718
Article ref: 33110425101001
Version of movement: 9300A

Which is this watch:

https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-...a-co-axial-chronograph-41-5-mm-33110425101001

Speedmaster 57 steel case with steel bracelet. Not a DSOTM...

If anyone can manage to report this listing, please do so!

Yes it is a crazy world / one I don't care to understand. The seller takes a profit, eBay takes a profit, Paypal takes a cut - the buyer will probably use a fake credit card and or be on a zero loan rate - modern monitory theory or the magic money (and watch tree) - maybe this whole thing is a psy-ops in which case we failed :0)

I tried to report it am today but kept getting bounced:-
Maybe only a super-duper missile can end the sale....

Maybe the seller has been liquidated?
