·I've been looking for a 'Jumbo' 37mm Omega Constellation, particularly reference 168.001 which was predominantly made for the Asian market. I've read that many of them didn't survive the hot climates very well so there are plenty of redials out there.
This particular watch has caught my eye partly due to the rose gold hands and markers - but this is also giving me pause because gold indices are not usually seen on this reference. The seller says that they might have been a custom order but I don't know whether Omega ever supplied them to order.
Another reason to be cautious is that the watch is unserviced, the seller does not accept any returns and there is no warranty.
I contacted the seller and this is what they said:
"The Constellation, I believe is all correct and uncommon, these were made specifically for customers in Asia I believe and that’s why the dial has rose markers at request at the AD for a good customer. I have seen that before as they would keep the case / movement and spec the dial for the customer. It’s rare but it does happen on these one-off references."
This is the listing: Constellation
