Is this Constellation Ref 14393 dial original or a redial? Also are the hands original?

The pics are poor but a couple of questions:
Have you seen another Constellation with coffin shaped indices?
What do you think about the relationship between the star and ‘Constellation’?
As above, the case is heavily polished and the crown and rotor have been replaced.
The hands look like new replacements.
The dial has heavy ‘foxing’.
For future reference - We really do need better pictures to assess the dial on watches properly.

You’re welcome but as @Scarecrow Boat suggests - try and scrutinise a watch yourself and share your thoughts.
If a detail looks wrong, it probably is.

·I will also add, the Forum has a thread that scrutinizes and recommends watches from e*bay plus you can look all through the for sale section here also.
Plus, there are many threads showing original Constellations and other models, so one could learn what “original” looks like and start to bank some knowledge.

The rotor is from the late 60s/ early 70s but is also a different colour to the bridge.

·Normally from what I have gathered from the forum members, a colour mismatch signifies the part is either from another movement of the same calibre or a service replacement part.
Indeed there are a number of different colours on this movement.
(Sometimes different lighting angles can make it appear that parts are a different colour and harsh cleaning can make parts look different too but I suspect , in this case, the movt has had replacement parts)
