路路Melbourne AustraliaIn one job I had to type the telexed financial returns to parent company because I was the only person who had used an ASR33 before and could get the the columns of figures lined up [*]. Learned where the (financial) bodies were buried from doing that.

I'll be the leader because I trained on a Friden Flexowriter (SPD1 for cards), and then graduated to one of the modern plastic case ones that did paper tape.
The later generations will have no idea of the fun you could get up to with a bucket of chads.
And once tipped into the back of a workmates trousers, it took days to get rid of them 馃榿.

You could punch your own cards? Luxury! We had to write out paper coding sheets and wait 3 days to get the cards back.
