The website is user friendly. Better when I navigate with Chrome for photos.

Don鈥檛 worry about it.

I didn鈥檛 know that I will get an email. Thanks!

FyI. You may have figured this out already. I had forgotten about it. There's a setting under Timezones to check to receive emails.

No app. The only part of the site that confused me at first was how to get to view the alerts inbox.
So how do I do that?
I haven鈥檛 figured that out yet.

Is that the same thing as receiving the emails that pdxleaf mentioned?

click "alerts" on the head banner.

I never saw the Alerts in the banner so went to a computer and there it was. I always use my android phone to access the OF and the Alerts isn't there. Never would have known if you hadn't pointed it out. Thanks.

EDITS: WTF. Now i can see the alerts with my phone. I swear it wasn't there before.

I may be senile but I am not crazy.

In one job I had to type the telexed financial returns to parent company because I was the only person who had used an ASR33 before and could get the the columns of figures lined up [*]. Learned where the (financial) bodies were buried from doing that.

[*] Justified to the right of course, and if they weren't the receiving finance people couldn't handle them 馃槜

Have you ever read David Foster Wallace?

I know this was directed at the footnotes comment. However, personally this makes me less inclined to read him.

Funny thing, a friend recently said we had to read Infinite Jest during the covid lockdown. I innocently agreed until I learned of the length, made up vocabulary (in parts) and Joycian plot development.

Now that David Foster Wallace has been summoned once again (and in a watch forum no less), you'd think a person would seriously consider breaking the spine of one of his tomes. But 13 hundred some pages? And not a single watch photograph? Those better be some good footnotes.

He even has footnotes in his footnotes. Fabulous. Infinite Jest is his best, IMO.

"This is so American, man: either make something your God and cosmos and then worship it, or else kill it."

Sounds like Wallace was a watch collector. 馃槈

We worked to create the best mobile web experience possible as we want it to be as similar on phone, tablet and PC as possible and as easy to get involved as possible. We don鈥檛 really see the need for an app given we鈥檙e just a website and most people get enough annoying notifications and apps they don鈥檛 use cluttering up their phones as it is.
