Stories like this remind me of why I stopped selling on eBay. I sold a rather rare LP on eBay, it was near flawless and highly collectible. Buyer reached out a week after he got it and said he didn't like the record. I asked if there was something wrong with the condition and he said it was in fine condition, he just didn't like the music and wanted to return it. After I explained to him that was not cause for a return, he never responded. I'm willing to bet if he pressed it, I would have had to take it back.
Reminds me of people who will give very low marks to their cruise experience because 'it rained all week and we couldn't enjoy ourselves'. You see similar nonsense in Amazon reviews, they will rate a product low because it took longer than expected to be delivered with no mention as to whether the product was good or not.

Still a good looking watch in my mind, for 150 i wouldn't expect much more.
I guess it all depends on whether you like it or not.

Yeah... I have sold numerous film cameras through auction on eBay that have ended in cancellation for silly reasons. How I wished I had the option to leave negative feedback because sellers need to know how trustworthy buyers are too. Not even a non payment claim will result in negative feedback.

I had a camera end in auction at $1,200 with the last seconds having an intense bidding war. Minutes after the winning bid was received that person messaged me saying “I was literally just mugged and everything I had was stolen. I only have $200 dollars to my name but I still want you camera. Will you sell it to me for that price??” Nope.

Another bidding war between three buyers in the final seconds on a different camera I sold resulted with that person messaging me “I bid up on this because I wanted it but it’s not worth that price. I will give you xxxx amount instead.” Nope

Not to mention the endless non payers with zero effort to communicate anything to me. Not once had I the option to leave negative feedback.

And this is ebay for sellers in a nutshell.
