I haven't bought a vintage Omega in awhile and when this popped up I quickly bought it. However, I should have looked closer before I spent my money. I paid about $150. Looking at the dial i can see that right off the bat the date indicator is missing the frame. Also the space between de and ville looks too small... there are also no movement photos. It does run. The case appears okay?? I'm not sure. What do you all think?

I’m not keen on the “m” in Seamaster.

The case even looks dodgy. Could this be an old beat up knock-off?

I'm not sure what reference that is but the case back looks unlike any I've seen on a Deville. I would just cancel- hate to be that guy but in this case it's truly warranted- and you can even tell him that you realized it could potentially be a fake.

On your mobile phone, I may add 😀

I concur with most of the above remarks too, I'm afraid.

Yes to this! My first Seamaster I bought late at night, had a glass or two in me and had taken an ambien and was sitting on my phone while waiting for it to kick in...I guess it had already when I hit the buy it now button- realized in the morning it was a redial ::facepalm1::

My tale of drinking and buying almost ended in utter disaster. Having had several vodkas after work I got it into my head to put down the first bid on an Aston Martin. It was a sweet car and A-M is one of my life’s ambitions. The next morning I checked the website (Bring a Trailer) b/c man, I had had a nightmare wherein I had bought an Aston. Well, there it was, my single and v high bid. The following week was the longest ever, and I remained the only bidder. Finally, as the end of the seventh day approached, one person out bid me by $500. That was a very happy moment! 😲

Yes, it is too late. Why does anybody think it is ok to press the buy-it-now button and reneg on the deal?
presumably we are all responsible for our own actions, I know I am, and if I buy something I BUY SOMETHING.
Unless it specifically says, you can change your mind, or return it, etc, etc...I think it is very poor form.

I’m a little confused.

Yeah, me too. Although it could be just maybe that it's easier to type "I paid 150$" than "I pressed the BUY NOW option which binds me to purchase this item at 150$ but I still haven't actually sent the money or finalized the purchase"? Just a guess 🍿

If this item was listed for parts/repair or modified/redialed leaving no room for misinterpretation, then I would agree.

If this was listed as all original, wether intentional or not, and the OP found out after they “bought it now,” it’s silly to say the OP is contractually obligated to throw their money at something that’s not what it says it is.

Meaning: yes, cancel your order.

That is a different issue, of course if something is mis-represented then it should be returnable/cancellable

Good point.

Agreed, if it's misrepresented you @Spartcom5 have the right to cancel it without repercussions.
