I've just inherited a Seamster 300 165.024. It is a 'civilian' Big Triangle model from 1968. Early in it's life it had an accident and was returned to Omega for a new bezel and dial to be fitted. I have noticed that it is fitted with the 'Letter T in a circle' dial, which I thought was only fitted to the military models. The lume is original (having the tiny dot at the 6 o'clock marker). and has 'T Swiss Made T' underneath. I can not find another one like it. It is in excellent condition inside and out and keeps perfect time, there are service marks inside the case back. Any ideas as to it's value?
You may want to post a photo of the back, movement and inside the case back, if you want an accurate assessment.
Are you sure it was returned to Omega for repair? As indicated above, more information is needed re: pictures of caseback, movement, etc.
Thank you for your reply, (and sorry for the lateness of mine, - I'm quite new to this!) As suggested, I have posted the three photos.
Thank you for your reply (and apologies for the lateness of mine - I'm new to this!) Yes, I do know this for a fact. The watch has been placed in my care by it's original owner, who purchased it new in 1968.

This thread is confusing. The OP seems to be indicating that his watch is "unique" because it has an unusual service part (or replacement part, at any rate). In this regard, nearly every franken-watch is unique.
A watch is unique or rare every time a seller tries to find a buyer for something that is far off the description.
