For me, an ideal sized collection is for me to work towards filling the watch box with 12 wrist watches, and having uncountable numbers of pocket watches hidden around the house like Easter eggs. I’m drawn to having most of my wrist watches serviced, but most pocket watches, other than a few that I’ll wear, can just sit around looking pretty.
Dave, I see we share a collecting philosophy. Enough wrist watches to fill a box and enough pocket watches to fill everything else.
I reject that. That could be only two.
And that is why you must learn to play the game right, as far as YOUR wife knows you only own two watches.
